(More customer reviews)Was looking for a portable that didn't flip open, but could be used on the lap or strapped to the back of the car seat. This one seems to fit the bill both ways.
Can't comment on the build quality since I've only had it a short time, but it seems well made. Plays everything I've thrown at it so far and the screen is gorgeous! Works as it should...sound is OK...what you'd expect from the small speakers, though it might be a bit low if used in the car.
We'll see how "Maxx Digital" stands the test of time though.
