(More customer reviews)For the price this is a really good portable DVD player. The DVD player is rimmed in a rubber "bumper" that helps it survive knocks from my 3 year old son. The sound out of the speakers isn't first rate but through ear phones it sounds much better. Just sitting open on the floor or a table it's top heavy so it tends to tilt back a bit. All the connection ports and the volume control are under rubber flaps, they help keep little sticky fingers away from the controls. All the play and menu buttons on the top are sealed over with plastic. I haven't had anything spill on mine but if that happened I don't think it would do much damage. I've had it for over a year and it's still working great.
