(More customer reviews)Rly happy with this product, bought it few months back since I've read that the Panasonic has pb the best upscaling quality on the market and the DV-400 or DV-410 were not that available.
And I am impressed with it. It is basically an DVD player that is region free and does a damn good job at upscaling (tried some media centers and a laptop w/ HDMI output - the DV-600 is definitely better).
Also of the reasons for which I choose the DV-600 is tha optical output that was no longer available w/ the DV-410 model. I know that there should be no difference between digital coax and optical but I had problems w/ coax in the past.
Another extra feature that the 600 series have is sound virtualisation: it'll make even a simple stereo AVI sound more or less 5.1, while also providing some advanced settings for the speakers.
so, highly recommended, great value for the money.
