(More customer reviews)This product did not come near to meeting my expectations. Right from the start, it seems to be very cheaply made. It feels like cheap material and the simple act of opening and shutting the drive is quite shaky. It does not open smoothly at all and has to be lifted up and sometimes given a little tap before it will pop open. After hours of work, I still have not been able to get it to write a CD. It does read a CD without any problem, although it is obnoxiously loud when it does so. The "user manual" is pretty much useless, as well; it is written in Chinese and a very poor translation into English that is difficult to understand and pretty much only tells you how to hook up the driver to your computer. Overall, there is practically nothing good to say and I would recommend you look elsewhere for your external drive needs.
