(More customer reviews)I just bought this thing last night at Brandsmart for way less than shown here. It was so inexpensive, it was almost an impulse buy. I've researched these things, and I wanted to get one that would play home made CD's w/.jpg files. The saleperson was clueless of course. But, I brought it home & it played my .jpg CD's perfectly. It has an on-screen file system, easy controls, plays DVD's very well, and has a very nice clean image. It also played my bootleg DiVx CD-R's, .mp3's, and audio CD's. I was very pleased. Bad stuff: the image given doesn't show the battery pack attached. It latches onto the back, and adds some bulk to the player. It's also just an ordinary heavy NiMh battery, not a Lithium Ion. There was no car power adapter included either. Good stuff: It has a neat little remote control, it operates just like a regular DVD player, looks good sitting on a coffee table, and will hopefully satisfy my desire to have a neat little digital photo album. It's also very affordable, and makes a nice birthday present for a big kid like me.
