I have other cheap earbuds, that came with Sansa C250 player, and those seem to have a bit better frequency response than these new ones from Elecom. The lack of bass can be somewhat compensated for, though, if your player has an equalizer or bass/treble control.
Pros:
Cheap, but do not look cheap, rather the opposite
Made by Elecom, a Japanese company (in China)
Comfortable to wear
Strong treble
Cons:
Weak bass
Smaller earbuds, tailored for small Japanese ears (thus weaker external noise insulation)
Update: My headphones "died" rather quickly - the membranes went bad, causing the sound to start buzzing and rendering the whole thing useless after about a week or so.
