The warranty is 3 months, but you have to ship the DVD player back to Coby and include a $12 money order to cover the shipping back to you. They will promise to ship you another unit in 4-6 weeks. So if you are willing to spend around $20 along with the hassle of getting the broken unit on its way back to Coby, you can spend the next couple of months hoping they actually send you a functional replacement which will last more than a few weeks.
