(More customer reviews)I bought this replacment charger for my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop running Ubuntu Linux. The original charger was just over 3 years old and a cable on it was starting to fray.
This charger works as advertised with the Dell laptop. Both the hardware (charging indicator light) and software (on-screen estimate for time remaining to charge battery) recognize that the laptop is being charged.
The replacement charger feels as solid as the original one that came with the laptop.
